ATHC Headquarters by Xavier vancells and Jaume Armengol is a selected work for the FAD Architecture and Interior Design Awards, and has been widely published in different media.

The fundamental premises of the project are the interaction with the existing landscape and the determination to give a second life to the old building.

The ATHC sports facilities are located in a privileged landscape environment directly connected to the Sant Llorenç del Munt Natural Park.

The pre-existing building, an old construction from 1952, is characterized by being located in the middle of a consolidated pine forest that generates a pleasant microclimate where its activities have been developed. Immediately adjacent to the building is the club’s main hockey field, creating an intense interaction of events. The new perimeter construction is arranged on the site with maximum attention to the existing trees.
